About this trip

We had the trip of a lifetime traveling through MAC Sports!!! Even through some hiccups with tickets coming through these ladies made sure we had everything we needed and kept us in the know about our event status!!! The social was a great time to meet those traveling with us and giving us the opportunity to feel like we were traveling with family!!! 10/10 recommend them for your tennis traveling experience!!! Thank you ladies for an awesome trip!!! Look forward to booking with you in the future!!!

I had no referring friends.  Did not know anything about you.  You answered my inquiry  last September and the adventure began.
I can't tell you what a positive experience this has been in only 2000 letters.  Let me try:
Ilone was a miracle worker, answering questions, patient with my sudden query about bringing a fourth person (that's what granddaughters do to you!), always responding to any little fear I might share!
Michael was a gentle force...having herded many to the Tube, then along with Southfield road to the Gate #4 of Wimbledon.  there were only 7 of us on 7/12-13, and I think he saw we were capable of handling 7/13 by ourselves...and we did!
Peter Mucalhy was a presence to behold.  We did initialy have our reservations confused but being the flexible trio that we are, all turned out just fine.  I wish I had recorded his monologue of the relationship between America and England, because there was such a plethora of fantastic information, but it will have to stay lodged in my brain.  I DO remember:  "you can't make this shit up!"

The Wimbledon complex itself was overwhelmingly beautiful.  Saturday we felt like salmon swimming upstream, but by Sunday we were acclimated.  The whole personnel of Wimbledon was fantastic, from Emily in the Cloakroom to the wonderful young men telling us we were going the wrong way - politely.
I couldn't have felt more comfortable with the care you gave.
I can't end without exulting Grant Saacks with MyPoints 4 Travel.  When I questioned his site with Ilona, she assured me that it was all on the up and up!  Well......not only did he work to put us on great flights, maneuver credit points here and there, he saved me a great deal of money while having delightful conversations on the phone!  He shared he had gone to Pepperdine - right up the coast from me, had played at Wimbledon as a Junior.  It was a wonderful experience which could have been a disaster organizing that kind of travel logistics.  Thank you, Grant!!!!

Great trip to Wimbledon.  Very nice hotel located conveniently to a Tube station.  Seats at tennis were amazing.  Only thing I would change is the day of the extra excursion.  It would have been nice to know the day our side trip was planned in advance and even better if we had a choice of excursions.  Otherwise, it was a perfect week and well organized.

Wonderful driver, great seats, very little contact with tour personnel… never heard from anyone once they accompanied us on subway to Wimbledon gates…

This trip to Wimbledon was a bucket list item for me and it far exceeded my expectations. My son and I had a fantastic time! MAC Sports Travel prepared a very organized trip that included everything. 2025 Wimbledon - Pam Hammack - WIM25

The trip was great and the experience at Wimbledon was wonderful.  The process and management of the tickets worked perfectly and Jessika was super responsive and attentive.  The hotel was in a great location. The only downsides were the crowds on the tube and the walk to the venue.

As avid tennis fans, Wimbledon was on our bucket list.  The trip was great.  MAC tours did a great job in selecting the Royal Garden Hotel which was centrally located with wonderful breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.  The Welcome Social at the Gardens Lawn Tennis Club was an unexpected highlight.  The camaraderie, opportunity to play on grass, the history lesson were a nice touch.  But the BEST part of the evening were the exceptionally and unique platters of assorted hors d'oeuvre. 

The Debenture tickets for Court One and Center Court made the experience extra special.  We were so close to the courts.  Seats were great.  It was extremely hot and crowded on the first two days of play so access to the Court One and Centre Court Lounge Clubs and restaurants were very much welcomed.  

We traveled to the Australian Open with MAC Tours so we expected nothing but the best.  You did not disappoint.  Now -we're  looking forward to Rowland Garros in 2027.

2025 Wimbledon -Saundra  Ardrey - WIM25

This is a dream trip for tennis lovers. My nephew and I had a wonderful time. The MAC Sports Travel team did an amazing job with all of the details from start to finish. Everything was taken care of for us so that we could enjoy the experience. The hotel was lovely and in a perfect location. Our seats on Court 1 and Centre Court were amazing, as was the access to the lounges. We loved our day exploring the Tower of London, the Crown Jewels, and other locations (we highly recommend the Churchill War Rooms if you haven't seen them). We met so many nice people on this trip and had fun commuting on the Tube with them each morning to Wimbledon. It was a nice mix of conversation in the morning and then being on our own once we entered the Wimbledon grounds. I look forward to traveling with the MAC Sports Travel team again, and highly recommend this experience.

I would like to give this more stars, but honestly it was just … okay. While things basically went well and we had a fantastic experience at Wimbledon, I don’t think that Mac Sports Travel did anything special to make this happen. We could have done this for ourselves by just buying a debenture ticket via the resale website and booking a nice hotel. In fact, they seem to do the bare minimum. 

Communication was difficult from the very beginning, with emails often going unanswered for weeks, or sometimes not at all. They do not assist with transportation to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, no one greeted us or even communicated with us for almost 48 hours. A simple reception in the evenings, or at least a welcome basket in the room would be a nice touch and make guests feel seen and acknowledged.

They provide things like a black cab tour as if this is some special perk, but if you have been to London before it isn’t great. How about offering options like theater tickets or dinner at a local restaurant instead? I requested to substitute a cab ride from the airport and was denied. A little bit of personalization would go a long way.

For the money we spent, I would have expected a bit more honestly. But if you aren’t an experienced traveler and just want to get to Wimbledon in the easiest manner possible, this would work for you.

2025 French Open - Michael&Pam Johnson - FO25

I can't say enough about the our trip to the French Open with Mac Travel.  It's our first time attending the event and Mac travel couldn't have made out trip to special.  First they booked us a hotel that was walking distrance to Roland-Garros. And Michael met us in the hotel lobby the first day, to walk with us to the venue.  He made sure that we got checked in efficiently and showed us where our hospitalizty suite was located.  It was so nice to have access to the hospitality suite.  The food and drink were marvelous and it was just lovely to have a place to sit and relax between matches.  We could also check our shopping bags there.  We did buy a lot of French Open Swag.  We extended out stay in Paris for a few days, and Mac travel booked us in a lovely hotel near the Champs-Elysee. It was called the Hotel Elysee Regencia.  It was a fabulous hotel,  with a great breakfast and a wonderful concierge, Quentin.  I'm looking forward to my next trip with Mac Travel. 

2025 French Open - Susan Snodgrass- FO25

Just returned from the 2025 French Open with Mac Sports Travel.    This was our second trip with Mac Sports and it certainly did not disappoint.  Michael and Jessica do an excellent job of making arrangements and accommodations for your stay.  All you have to do is pack your bags and enjoy the experience.  We will definitely be traveling again with them again and can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

Michael Jeffs is the best! He has done two trips for me and there will probably be many more! The hotel was great, we had the top suite, lovely! The tour guides were awesome, and everyone was just lovely. I LOVED Roland Garros. I will go back if I can. Highly recommended.

From May 24th through May 29, my wife Alison, and I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable trip to Paris, centered around the iconic Roland Garros tournament—and everything about it was spectacular.

Paris as I heard never disappoints, but this trip with MAC sports travel exceeded all of our expectations. Our first two trips in 23 and 24 with MAC sports travel was to Wimbledon, as those trips were incredible  we decided to continue our grand slam tour of the majors with MAC sports travel again.

The energy of the city in late May was electric, and the atmosphere around Roland Garros was simply unmatched. From the thrill of world-class tennis to the charming streets of Paris, every moment felt curated to perfection.

The highlight is the seamless planning—that Michael and Jessica craft with a thoughtful, well-paced itinerary that balance excitement and leisure effortlessly. Whether we were taking in the many matches around the grounds, the fabulous seats at Court Philippe Chatrier to enjoy top players which included the Rafael Nadel farewell Ceremony, enjoying a meal and cocktails in the hospitality area, a wonderful river cruise along the Seine, and just meeting new tennis fans, everything felt beautifully timed and stress-free.

The hotel?  Clean, good food, and a perfect location for a 20 minute walk to tennis and a 5 minute walk to the metro which gets you into the city within 20 minutes.

Huge thanks to Michael and Jessica who helped make it happen and are so much fun to be around.  We are already counting down the days until we plan our next trip to Rome, Barcelona or Australia.

We've traveled with MacSports several times and Michael and his team never disappoint!  In fact, there seems to be one surprise in each of the tours we've taken that's really over the top!  For example, for this year's French Open, our seats in Philippe Chatrier stadium meant that we were going to see Rafa's farewell tribute to Roland-Garros!  Amazing.  Our seats were fantastic, and the hospitality suite insured we had plenty of great food and drink.  Michael leaves nothing to chance and always looks after his clients personally.  What more can I say other than "we'll be back!"

We had a great time. The group was fantastic, the food walking tour was incredible, and the tennis was great. This is our fourth trip with Jessica and Michael and they always take care of us. I do recommend an optional cooking class for next time. We booked that on our own and had an exceptional time making homeade tiramisu, linguini, and ravioli.  Thanks for a wonderful time.

Many thanks to Michael, Jessica and Ilona of MAC sports travel for another fantastic experience!  We have been on several trips with MAC sports travel and keep coming back due to the personalized service.  Michael and his team are very attentive from booking to completion of the trip. They want to be sure all of their guests enjoy their experience.  Rome was amazing and the Foro Italico is one of the most beautiful tennis sites in the world and we are glad to have checked a visit there off our bucket list.  In addition to our trip to Rome, Jessica prepared a wonderful itinerary to Florence and Venice.   We couldn’t be more pleased with MAC sports travel!  

I can’t begin to describe how wonderful it was having Coach Ski as our driver for the week in Augusta!  His customer service was off the charts the whole time and he was so fun. Coach Ski went above and beyond the whole week to make us feel special and so it would be a memorable experience. We will definitely request him again if/when we come back!  Thanks Coach!
